Baroque masks and costumes are coming to life again in the park, at the Orangery, the New Palace, in front of the Chinese Tea House, at the Roman Baths, the Picture Gallery, or at the Church of Peace on the other end of the park.

Sanssouci, the former summer residence of Frederick the Great, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site embedded in an extensive park landscape conceived by famed landscape architect Peter Lenné. During Potsdam Palace Night, both park and buildings are brilliantly illuminated and peopled by illustrious figures.

Before you enjoy a unique experience in Sanssouci Park, give yourself some little more time to stroll through the city centre that takes you along magnificent town houses and churches as well as charming shops, cafés and restaurants.

To get from citystay Hostel to Potsdam Sanssouci takes round about 1,5 hours by regional train RE 1, plattform 2 from Alexanderplatz train station. From the central station in Potsdam you can catch the Bus 695 to Orangerie, from there it’s a few minutes walk.
